Latest Defra UK stats on UK livestock numbers: 1996: 4.45m breeding female cattle and 19.5m breeding f sheep. 2021: 3.3m breeding f cattle and 14.5m breeding f sheep. Ruminant numbers falling & GHG emissions rising. Maybe its not the burps.
