Arresting filmmakers? When the people who shot kina Eric are walking scotfree is just insane! Al Shabaab are carrying chiefs back and forth of wherever, Kenyans are being shot on their land but they’re arresting filmmakers???

Been in touch with lawyers at Pangani police station and have been told that the film makers arrested last night are being charged with false publication in relation to the BBC documentary #BloodParliament . Their equipment was confiscated and they were made to give statements

This short film was done by Brian Adagala and Markdenver Karubiu last year to mark 100 days since 25th June 2024. The arrest of filmmakers on World Press Freedom Day is a sign that Ruto's regime is reckless, dangerous, and doesn't think before they act.
