Pedro Pascal has a monologue in MATERIALISTS that spoke to me deeply. I don’t recall ever seeing a male character discuss physical aesthetics and how that might overpower confidence in a mainstream romantic drama like that. It was sincere, refreshing, and moved me dearly.
