Sign language is a beautiful and powerful form of communication πŸ’™ Our Prep pupils learned a few signs this week with Mrs Ross during their assembly and loved it! We always strive to be an inclusive community, and so we create lots of opportunities to learn sign language.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.

Today in Pre-Prep we have been finding out about Remembrance Day. We gathered together to watch the BBC's remembrance film – a beautiful and evocative animation that sees war as experienced by animals. We are very proud of the respect the pupils showed this morning.

Last month, ECS pupils took part in a drawing challenge called 'Inktober', creating 31 drawings in 31 days. With a prompt for each day, staff and pupils dipped into various days and completed a month of beautiful, clever and interesting pen drawings reflecting their chosen word.
