#Happeningnow ECOZI is having the 3rd quarter National Coordination Meeting to discuss progress on implementation of the operational plan, to share Education Policy updates, to unpack the Heritage Based Curriculum and to get updates from Thematic Committees.

ECOZI participated at a round table meeting with Tertiary Education Service Council (TESC) & College Lecturers Association of Zimbabwe. The main objective was for TESC to unpack its role in tertiary education and to create synergies for the best interest of higher education

ECOZI participated in the consultations on the Non-Formal Education (NFE) Policy at the national level. Other members of the coalition that participated in the consultations include Plan Int' Zimbabwe, World Vision Zimbabwe & CAMFED - Campaign for Female Education

#today ECOZI & Global Campaign for Education are hosting a side event on Education Financing in Southern Africa. Civil Society Presantations are expected to come from Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Malawi. ECOZI recommends increasing the Education budget to meet the 4-6% of the GDP.

ECOZI participated in a workshop hosted by Ministry of P&S EdZW for the finalization of Secretary’s Circular on the continuation of education for pregnant girls & under aged male & female parents & the development of consolidated package on pupil safeguarding circular.
