If you want to see something odd, look at Italian (pink) and Spanish (gray) 30-year gov't bond yields. Yields are spiking everywhere, but not for Italy and Spain. This is the effect of past ECB actions to cap these yields and is a subsidy for bad fiscal policy in these countries.

A mad investigation into the hacking team of Unit 29155 will drop very soon. It has everything you want in a spy thriller: lies, sex, deep fakes, back-biting and corruption. We will show the faces - and the personal secrets - of the spies who hack & sabotage the West and Ukraine.

The Mamdani win is a Rob Henderson Luxury Beliefs blog post turned into real life. A bunch of rich people made themselves feel charitable by voting to give a bunch of poor people things that sound nice. And the (smarter) poor people voted against it b/c they know it’s bs.

🧵A few thoughts about the sorry state of European security. Finally some reality is beginning to sink in about the risk level, as NATO SecGen’s recent comments have shown. But it’s not enough. Western European societies remain mentally disarmed when compared to #Russia. 1/9

This wonderful project has sparked excitement as an example of affordable housing in an expensive European city. However, an exploration of the project and its costs reveals that it isn't cheap. Let's take a tour.

Dear Commissioner, you destroy your credibility when you make statements that no one will believe. Accepting the facts is crucial for Europe to remedy the structural weaknesses that led to this extortionate deal.

This is so cool! In the past, I have just super imposed spatial maps across different censuses to keep track of district changes. But, this provides such an important context and extra info.
