In 2021, we asked the ecological community about their needs and the barriers and opportunities in environmental modelling. These findings guided the development of EcoCommons Australia and are now summarised in this report: zenodo.org/record/7751236… Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) Atlas of Living Aust QCIF

We're thrilled to see the release of a #Phyton - based {galah} package for accessing, processing and visualising ALA data and read about how it can be used to look into invasive & introduced species! Well done to Dr Amanda Buyan for spearheading this! 💪🎉🌏

🥳We're absolutely delighted to see the launch of our closest partner, the Biosecurity Commons Australia today! Biosecurity Commons is the platform empowering decision-makers and researchers with decision-support tools for modelling and analysing biosecurity risk and response. Check it out

We're are really impressed by the work on the Threatened Species Index integrating monitoring data on threatened birds, mammals and plants which is run at TERN in partnership with DCCEEW. The overall index shows that threatened biodiversity has declined by 55% since 1985
