In Paris, bike infrastructure has increased from 181km in the year 2000 to 1200km in 2024. The number of trips by bike now exceeds trips by car, increasing 71% between 2019-2022. The rise in riding then picked up speed, doubling in just 1 year between October 2022 & October 2023.
