Deel has raised $300M at a $17.3B valuation We started about 6 years ago, struggling to even make $10K. I've never shared this before because of how embarrassing our start was. The story of how we went from $1K to $1B and the advice I'd give to my younger self:

Both are correct here. The current X Creator system is bad because many of the most influential people with the largest reach on X are making $10k-100k/yr from rev share. The way to get really rich on X is today is (and always has been) to own a company, product, or service

A lesson I wish I learned earlier: Most people aren’t out of your reach, they’re just out of your effort. Send the cold email. Walk up to the stranger. Ask for help. Access is closer than you think, but only for those with the courage to ask. Closed mouths don't get fed.

If you're interested in arts and cultural preservation of the Nigerian entertainment industry, find a way to listen to the interview the Afropolitan podcast had with Adé Bantu today. It's a full-on masterclass.

The older I get, the more I realize you can reinvent yourself as many times as you need. New habits. New mindsets. New standards. New people. New career. You’re never stuck. You’re allowed to change. Today, tomorrow, and as many times as it takes to create the life you want.
