I am going to assume that these your continued, unprovoked attempts to ruffle me is because some part of you wants to know the truth, even if you’re not consciously aware of that.

I have a few minutes, so let’s go:

1. To be poor is NOT to be close to wickedness. To have an UNREGENERATE HEART is to be close to wickedness. For a person to judge another’s moral standing MERELY by their financial situation is ACTUALLY the thing that is close to wickedness. It is inhumane. It is unkind.

In many places in scripture, we are CAUTIONED against the deceitfulness of riches, the temptation to make your life about WHAT YOU HAVE rather than HOW YOU LIVE in regard to God’s purpose for you.

In scripture, the rich are warned and warned against. Today, it’s the reverse.

The poor are warned and warned against. They are scorned. Told that they don’t have enough faith. That they’re not sowing enough. That they’re doing something wrong or lacking in some ‘special’ revelation. Even when many of them do back-breaking work, take up the roles/jobs that

the rich are too ‘prestigious’ and ‘blessed’ to do, they are still indicted with being “close to wickedness”.

God will judge.

The cow that has no tail, it is God that helps it to chase flies away.

2. AGAIN, saying that Jesus did not die to make you a billionaire, DOES NOT mean that He wants you begging for the crumbs that fall off a rich man’s table. It takes a special kind of dishonesty, a willful obstinacy, to IGNORE everything I said about how God desires to meet our
