Congratulations to Cameron Brinker, who finished 5th in the state in Nature Interpretation Career Development Event. This CDE tests student knowledge in things such as mammal, bird, and plant ID in addition to determining water quality and controlling problem plants. Great job!

Today, we hosted our annual Safety Day with Penta-Otsego FFA Chapter at the Ag Incubator Foundation for the 5th graders of both Eastwood and Otsego. We taught our students about the importance of safety in ag. Thank you to all of our students and volunteers who made the day fun and successful!

Yesterday, we held our annual Food For America program for our 4th graders at the Nissen and Russell Farms. Our students served as group leaders or teachers and we had 16 different teaching stations. It was a great day to learn about agriculture. Thank you to everyone who helped!

This is a reminder to all FFA members that we will be having our first Babyland setup work time on Monday, July 14 at 6:00 pm at the Babyland barn on the Wood County Fairgrounds. Please come help if you can!

FFA members, we will be setting up the Jr. Fair Building at the Wood County Fairgrounds this Wednesday, July 23 at 9:00 am and will then landscape and finish setting up at Babyland afterwards. Please come help if you can! Hopefully I see a lot of you on Wednesday morning at 9:00.

Fair wristbands will be available for FFA members from the Wood County Fair Office beginning tomorrow (Tuesday) through Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am - Noon. Please pick up your wristbands from the fair office before the fair starts on Sunday.

This morning, FFA members set up the Jr. Fair Building and landscaped the Babyland Barn at the Wood County Fairgrounds in preparation for next week’s fair.

FFA members, this is a reminder that if you are planning on bringing anything to the Jr. Fair Building at the Wood County Fair, check in is tonight from 6:00-9:00 pm.

The Babyland Auction is tomorrow night, Saturday, August 2, at 7:00 in the Sheep Show Arena at the Wood County Fairgrounds. We have numerous animals and a pair of 2 man hunts that will be auctioned. We hope to see a lot of people there!
