Really enjoying The Final Vow by M.W. Craven. Some of it is set locally, and I even know someone that works at the actual city skyscraper, plus I've been to Horizon 22, the viewing gallery at 22 Bishopsgate which also gets a mention. The book and the view are both recommended.

I'm doing really well with my Norwegian sweater, onto the second sleeve now. I'm finding the neck hard work so will return to it after the sleeve is done. My original time estimate of 2 years seems a bit OTT now, but time estimates are usually OTT.

Bacchae today, brilliant and seriously recommended. So good we immediately planned a holiday in Greece next summer. National Theatre seems very exciting under Indhu Rubasingham's artistic direction, and this makes me very pleased.
