Despite what’s been said a lot the past year and a half, I think it’s actually really easy to distinguish criticism of Israel from antisemitism. Are the protestors protesting Israel or are the protesting Jews? Threatening a synagogue would indicate the latter.

We need a future where the Hawk Tuah girl is an integral part of First Amendment jurisprudence on government employee speech.

It is clear from Mehdi's tweet that he can tell Biden suffered tonight, and he sees that in part as a journalistic failure. But it was not CNN's job to do PR for the current president. *That* would have been actual bad journalism. Reporters aren't cheerleaders.

Something like Chevron getting overturned is fun because all the lawyers are freaking out but the general American public won’t care at all.

I think this misses the point a little. Ending Chevron deference is good but it’s a separation of powers issue, not a representation issue. Federal judges aren’t elected either.

This is unrecognizable. There’s nothing in Hayek’s writings to support this. The author’s attempts to point to this are tortured.

What the Chevron decision does not do: • Stop agencies from interpreting statutes. • Stop Congress from explicitly granting agencies greater interpretive power. • Stop courts from considering agency interpretation in making their decisions.

I do think Biden should be allowed to select one annoying donor and one member of the media to commit ritualistic seppuku for bringing dishonor to their elder

This video of Michigan’s 6-3, 238-pound QB Alex Orji picking up popcorn kernels while doing pistol squats atop a wobbly SlackBlock blew my mind. (Notice everyone else doing it “the traditional way” in the UM program.) The 2024 Freaks List: nytimes.com/athletic/56688…

If you’re in Michigan, vote for Justin Amash today. He’s the greatest man and representative you could possibly ask for. His opponent is complete establishment neocon scum. Pure swamp.
