We were pleased to join the Elimu Bora Working Group at the National Education Reforms Stakeholders Conference, where stakeholders came together to reflect on systemic challenges and chart solutions for effective implementation of ongoing education reforms.Elimu Bora Working Group
We were pleased to facilitate the Sexual Violence UPR Thematic Group, hosted by Wangu Kanja Foundation and Peace Brigades International (PBI), to review Kenya’s 4th UPR recommendations, develop indicators, and plan advocacy ahead of the Sept 2025 adoption—towards survivor-centered, accountable systems.
We joined Oxfam Kenya for a validation workshop on new studies exploring Domestic Resource Mobilization and Tax Incentives in Kenya. The findings highlight challenges and opportunities for building a fair, inclusive DRM framework that drives equity and accountability. Oxfam Kenya
This morning, we joined Kenya Alliance of Resident Associations , UNDP Kenya, Netherlands Embassy in Kenya & @AmkeniWakenya in a consultative forum on County Public Participation Guidelines to enhance digital inclusion. Together with Council of Governors & CSOs, we’re shaping frameworks for inclusive & responsive governance.
Joined partners in the Coalition Against Sexual Violence (CASV) for our monthly meeting to review progress, set priorities, and prepare for the upcoming judgment on Petition E0024—a critical step for advancing survivors’ rights in Kenya. Wangu Kanja Foundation Coalition Against Sexual Violence
We convened the Girls Not Brides Nairobi region for UPR Training Workshop, Strengthening CSOs, youth & women advocates to engage in the UPR, review Kenya’s 4th cycle recommendations, and craft joint strategies for gender equality & human rights.
In partnership with PENDEKEZO LETU , we held a CSO–State workshop on Kenya’s 4th Cycle UPR child rights recommendations—reflecting on priorities, shaping joint action, and fostering accountability to turn commitments into real change for children.
