Scottie Scheffler is back out this afternoon for some practice and autographs

Scheffler says it took a while for officers to figure out who he was and to find his name in their system. Never broke out the ‘do-you-know-who-I-am.’

“No — at no point did I try to name-drop myself.”

Scheffler says he wasn’t sure if he’d make his tee time — but saw from jail that things were delayed:

“When I was sitting in the holding cell I could see myself on ESPN and in the corner there was the time.”

“I did do some stretching in a jail cell today.”

The PGA of America has released a statement that the person struck and killed by a shuttle bus outside Valhalla was 'a worker with one of our vendors.'
