Greetings from Kyiv! A usual warcoffee after the workout. The night was calm. It’s been raining since the morning. May something good happen to you today.

Closer to evening, life in Kyiv returns to its ‘normal’. People come back from work, children’s laughter jumps from playgrounds. russia took the lives of 13 Kyivans today, damaged homes and hearts. But we find the strength to live. Proud of everyone.

The other day, I visited an exhibition that left me speechless. It shows women who lost their sons and husbands in the war. I’m sharing part of it with a poem that played during the video. I added English subtitles. For you. Please watch. And share. So others can see too.

Night train to Ivano-Frankivsk. Comfortable. A young woman shares my compartment. She’s also heading to the literary school. A writer. I told her I try to help people discover Ukraine. And maybe, for the first time, I truly felt proud. Thank you for reading.

Today, we went to the mountains for a few hours. One of the guides (a milk-haired man in a jacket once blue) told us about the opryshky, mountain rebels who fought against feudal oppression in the Carpathians from the 16th to the 19th century. I’ll look into it more. Coming
