Moving depleted my wardrobe and I needed a scarf, so my daughter ordered keffiyehs for all of us. My son and I were having our pictures taken for our church directory, and the scarves arrived just in time to wear for that … on May The Fourth!
I guess some Force was at work.😉

In one of my disasters* I lost half a dozen “fake” books. As I browsed looking for replacements, I found one cleverly named “The Real Book”.

*It has been suggested that a disaster is merely a harbinger of catastrophe.

When dandelions go to seed, my daughter Bex calls them “blow flowers”.

Somehow you’ve sparked a memory from sixty years ago of singing this song that no one would ever hear.

Here, revised a bit, are words to a song my father taught me when I was a lot younger than I am today.

When Craven was himself in the Castle 2013 episode Scared To Death
it was almost as good as having Stephen Hawking (1942-2018) on The Big Bang Theory.

We returned from Tim Horton’s with soup, sandwiches and doughnuts,

That ought to make anyone who is fond of vocalized labial consonants really happy.

Johnny Cash sang Shel Silverstein’s “A boy named Sue” at San Quentin in 1969. Our youth choir from Edmonton did “It’s a long road to freedom” by Sister Miriam Therese Winter at a jail near Victoria in 1970. They loved it. Sorry to say I’ve only sung for prisoners two other times.
