Dancing Alone by Ann-Marie Brown I'm working the first Spring of Covid on a series of paintings called the Quarantine Suite. I ached during the lockdowns for youth. This flame of a girl is a dancer who lights up the stage & spent it dancing alone.

Covid by Jacqui James This is a ceramic head hand made, hand glazed. This head I made while in lockdown it’s made of clay and slip it has little metal sticks fired in the clay with tiny balls on top representing the virus. There is only one and it is impossible to be repeated.

Covid Times by Rachel Riggs ..Created in a liminal space and have a futuristic, surreal, dream like tangibility, which helped me to process fears and anxieties from feeling locked in and being unable to leave Western Australia for 2 years as the borders were closed.

Pier Ruin by Lior Locher I had to flee unexpectedly during lockdown 1 and ended up in Brighton by chance. The Pier ruin is quite famous and the gloomy vibe reflects how I was feeling that summer. Not quite the seaside party vibe.

4 Seasons of Covid by Steve Allen I used Covid as a catalyst to fight the mundane boredom attached to the lockdowns. This piece was my seasonal understanding of the virus and it's spread across our collective psyche and indeed the spread across the country.
