Agreed. This is the central point of this new book with Alexander F. Gazmararian uncertainfuturesbook.com applied to the energy transition and featuring the voices of impacted communities.
This is a great^10 paper for anyone interested in energy transitions. Alexander F. Gazmararian and I go into the credibility aspects in detail in uncertainfuturesbook.com (including firm perspectives not just communities) but this paper covers much more, too. It brings a ton together.
