Must be nice for Tom Felton to not have to be ā€œattunedā€ to Rowling’s awfulness. Doesn’t personally affect him, so why should he care?

There are those rarest of times when I witness a film so special, so profound & so inspiring I know instantly it’s not only the best of the year, but an all-timer. Mike Flanagan’s THE LIFE OF CHUCK is this latest cinematic shooting star. It opens wide this weekend. Don’t miss it.

Hold the phone! There is going to be an upcoming Pixar film called GATTO about a black cat in Venice, and it’s going to be hand-painted?! Will I survive?! Stay tuned in 2027.

Nicholas Galitzine truly transformed himself to play He-Man, and I give him all the snaps for his dedication to MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. That said, I can’t wait for him to deflate back down to normal size.

Danny Boyle’s 28 YEARS LATER is tense and bleakly transfixing, a sequel not only well worth the wait but the series’ best, most emotionally resounding installment yet. Kudos for so brilliantly including the chilling recitation of Rudyard Kipling’s ā€œBootsā€ as used in the trailers.
