After a very long hiatus, it is nice to see that lodges are beginning to slowly return from their legally mandated slumber. It is going to be a slow road back to where we were before 2020, however as always we will meet on the level and part on the square.

On the 16th April 2021 the DLB sent a letter of Loyal Greetings and Condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the sad passing of The Duke of Edinburgh. Today we have received a letter in response from Buckingham Palace at Her Majesty’s Command United Grand Lodge of England Durham Freemasons

Today members of the Durham Light Blues will be commemorating Remembrance Day and on Sunday will be commemorating Remembrance Sunday at varying places around the province. #RemembranceDay #Freemasons

Today the DLB have marked Remembrance Day and will observe Remembrance Sunday, but as we do we also think of the masons of our province who fell. Aptly this video by the RCAM highlights our former county regiment, the DLI, who many of our fallen masons served with. #Freemasons
