Happy NY to you too. This is especially an attack on PGRs as we more often have partners/families. Alongside reduction of PhD funding options that cover international tuition fees, it's harder & harder to be a migrant PGR. I moved here for my PhD in 2019; I couldn't start it now.

DU PGRs have got an email "Be kind to your mind" on wellbeing services. Research at University of Oxford &elsewhere has found these don't work. theguardian.com/commentisfree/… Durham University, be kind to our minds w/better working conditions. 1st, cancel the return of punitive continuation fees 🙏
