Finally some drier weather DunscarGCCourseStatus and we are making some progress with our course. Bunkers tidied up and greens hand cut for weekend. Fairways and rough having their first cut of the season also.

Still soft in a lot of places but all fairways cut this week and most the rough has been completed. 🤞they have the forecast right next week and we get some warmer temperatures.

Just 10mm rain this week so lads have smashed cutting. started to get some growth and definition back.

Course all cut and ready for Club Championship this weekend, change holes, rake bunkers and cut greens in morning.

Been a busy last couple of weeks with drainage on several holes. Thanks to Duncan Tomlinson for coming in last week and digging out all the wet areas. Found pipes full of roots, pipes that didn’t connect to anything and a irrigation pipe that has leaked for years.

Last night the Lady Captain hosted an amazing charity event at Dunscar Golf Club in aid of the fabulous Rainbow Trust 🌈

Course remains closed today, partly due to waterlogged fairways and rough after the thaw, partly due to deep frozen greens.

Nice to get out with sweepnfill on fairways before cut.
