Education Secretary Jenny Gilruth met with pupils and teachers at the award-winning @DunoonGS.

The school was recognised as T4 Education’s World’s Best School prize in recognition of the work it has done to embed community needs within its curriculum.

Education Secretary Jenny Gilruth finished off her busy visit by doing a spot of shopping at our annual Young Enterprise Scotland Young Enterprise S2s 10x Challenge Pop-up Mall, which was very well attended by our local community!

Ms Gilruth also discussed the new SQA NPAs in esports and our own in-house course for S3 learners with our young people.

Education Secretary ⁦Jenny Gilruth⁩ met with our S1 girls esports team who competed at the ⁦Nintendo UK⁩ competition in Liverpool last week and chatted with learners from Dunoon Primary about ⁦the fantastic Digital Schoolhouse⁩. We are currently Scotland’s only DSH.

Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills met with our two ⁦AppsforGood⁩ showcase winners on her visit to our school today, hearing about the fantastic courses they worked on and their resulting app. They also discussed their visit to ⁦BNY Mellon⁩ London office.
