I love my job most days but it’s always that little bit more special when I get to look after a veteran. Today was pretty special talking to a RAF Vet that worked on a joint helicopter experimental programme in the 1950s.

Jacob has had a love of aircraft and the dream of flying all his life. Six years ago he got his real first fly past and it was just joyous to see his reaction❤️

Today was a good day. I got to look after a veteran of the Korean War who fought the Chinese at Imjin River. We proper squaddie laughed swapping stories, obviously his were far better and funnier than mine. #LestWeForget🌺

Super proud of Jacob today. His second transition day to high school and some children in his form were picking on another child. He told them to stop and now he has a new friend. Days like this I see his mother in him🥲 #SingleParentLife #SayNoToBullying

Live Aid is 40 years old today. I was 17, DJ ing in South London and got offered a ticket to the greatest gig of all time and I said, ‘Na, it will be shit, they’ll never fill Wembley’. The morale of this story is never turn down free stuff 😂😂😂
