Wee update! Recently had 3 lung ablations on my nodules which were zapped. Had CT results this week and one has grown.. cue treatment change to kadcyla. Enter spanner where my radiologist who did ablation says post tx changes. What to do? Is it cancer or not? #cancer #bc #mets

Most people think breast cancer is the ‘good’ one to get, but metastatic breast cancer is the biggest killer of women under 50 in the uk. We need more research, more treatment lines, access to clinical trials and an end to the postcode lottery that is so unfair #metastaticmay

So wee update. Had a CT back in March that showed no new areas, just post ablation changes! Went to see onc on Tues and was told my routine MRI done that morning was reported and showed a couple of new areas. Need more tests. Crap! #breastcancer #lungmets #mbc #cancer

Treatment #123 after another CT scan to see if the #cancer is behaving. If not it’s all change to #kadcyla. Im very lucky and thankful to the #NHS for keeping me going over the last 7 years #busylivingwithmets #cancerrealities #lungmets

So it’s #herceptin and #pertuzumab treatment 125 and it’s confirmed this is my last. Sadly I have a new mediastinal node which is growing so next treatment will be change to #kadcyla. I have been so lucky to get 7.5yrs on this treatment #breastcancer #stage4 #lungmets

Had my first #kadcyla on Wed after 125 cycles of herceptin and pertuzumab. You can tell there’s chemo in this one, isn’t as easy as I found h&p. Headaches, nausea, sickness, sore throat. Let’s hope it does the job! #busylivingwithmets #stage4 #breastcancer #metastatic
