If there’s one thing about this community that I hate… It’s the nerdish tendency to be like, “UM, ACTUALLY!” Or just plainly picking stuff apart without knowing anything about it. Why is this community so pedantic? What common trauma do you all have?

Does anyone else get disappointed when they see people praising at the pedestal of D&Ds design? You can see how its dug its claws into what is “best” Down to things like “initiative is perfect” because it’s how we do it every session… and its pretty much became a “jingle”

DungeonBits Well, there is no perfect design, you can't design something that fits all. Taste is definitely also subjective. Know your user, design for that user.
