What an amazing event at the newly renovated Gold Coast Aparthotel! Guests loved the exclusive tour of the high-spec apartments (for 2-6 people) and the stunning Dungarvan Bay views. Plus, we explored the sensory & games rooms! Big thanks to everyone who joined!

REMEMBRANCE DAY The Waterford World War 1 Memorial Wall in Dungarvan remembers the 1100 Waterford men and women who died in World War 1. The use of names & listing them by locality makes the monument relatable and gives a greater sense of the loss.

Gaulstown Dolmen is located in Butlerstown around 7km from #Waterford City. It is one of the most impressive examples in Ireland of a prehistoric portal tomb. It dates to around 3500 to 4000 BC and is constructed of locally quarried volcanic rock. The tomb features a cap stone

'Gusts of Irish rain are sweeping Round the statue in the square; Corner boys against the walling Watch us furtively in vain, And the Angelus is calling Through Dungarvan in the rain.' Lines from the fabulous poem and one of my favourites 'The Irish Unionist’s Farewell to Greta
