#OnThisDay 1987 193 of the 539 passengers and crew of the Cross Channel Ferry, MS Herald of Free Enterprise died when the ship capsized whilst leaving Zeebrugge, Belgium. 2 @royalnavy divers from HMS Hurworth, visiting Ostend, assisted in the rescue and many more in the recovery


We were then able to create and run simulations for each other using peer-to-peer teaching, facilitated by faculty from the Institute of Pre-Hospital Care and London's Air Ambulance Charity...

Presenting some recent work from Institute of Pre-Hospital Care at the recent prehospitalcare conference. Future areas to explore are provision of formed armour for females and the design of the wider uniform for greater flexibility in the interoperability of the equipment.

Interesting look at the physical and mental impacts of undertaking medical care in body armour. Highlights the importance of the tactical care continuum. No matter how good you are at the point of impact, your interventions are limited.. Police Medics
