We screened Juror #2, a legal drama. We were joined by a criminal defense attorney and a legal professor from Georgetown Law School for a discussion afterward, complete with a movie theater experience of popcorn, candy, & nachos. Day 3 of Justice in Action Week is a wrap!

We successfully hosted our first career day for Justice In Action Week, coinciding with Law Day on May 1st. We invited representatives from the DEA, FBI, US Marshals, MPD, DC Dept. of Forensic Science, and a court stenographer to discuss law-related careers for our students.

We appreciate our partnership with the Pillsbury law firm, which hosted our students for networking with legal professionals, a campus tour, and a Chipotle lunch. Many associates look forward to further collaboration with our students. We educate, validate, and empower them.

We proudly coordinated the League of Women Voters to prepare graduation voter registration cards for our Dunbar Seniors. Today, these cards were distributed during graduation practice to encourage them to register and participate in our democracy. Change starts with them!
