Y8’s adventures in Cornwall continue. They visited Porthcurno Telegraph Museum today, and this evening they were in for a real treat at the Minack Theatre - what a stunning location!

After a long but very successful week at Dumpton, Friday evening Hobbies was a lovely relaxed occasion. Christian Saenger was caught taking a moment to enjoy a beanbag and these children’s company. #LivingOurValues

A wonderful Dumpton School Speech Day today - the first time since 2019, and the first in our new sports hall! It was a fantastic ceremony, thank you to all involved, especially Jo Thomson from Clayesmore School for being our guest of honour.

Very busy on site this week - huge progress made with both tennis/netball courts, nursery garden, and new Reception classroom. Excited to see end results.

First pics in from Y8’s adventure in Scotland. It really is the most stunning of landscapes. They will learn to conquer both the mountains and the seas this week, and finish by surviving for a night together on a deserted island. A remarkable learning experience for them all.

So very glad I could join up with the pupils on the Y8 Scotland trip, if only for a short time. They’re all on top form, despite some very changeable weather!

In the front hall, our book of condolence for HM Queen Elizabeth II is open for all members of the school community. Every Dumpton pupil will also have the chance to contribute with the support of their teachers. #QueenElizabethIIMemorial #QueenElizabethII Dumpton School

Congratulations to 12-year-old Dumpton School pupil Fraser Burnet who won the Fundraiser category at the recent BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards for raising £11,095 swimming the equivalent of English Channel to France & back for Forest Holme 🏊‍♀️#makeadifference #thursdayvibes
