Aontú male totally missing the f*cking point. Why do people without a uterus feel entitled to an opinion? Birth control is much more than a contraceptive. It’s also a form of hormonal control which helps many women through bad period pains.

5 years since we opened our little pub in the Coombe. What a journey. Big thanks to everyone involved past and present and to all our lovely customers 🙏🏻

Last night's dinner in an upmarket restaurant cost €229 for two cocktails, two starters, two mains, a bottle of wine and a bottle of sparking water. The food was fine but nothing noteworthy, and the portions were on the small side. It just didn't feel like good value at all.

I'm writing an article at the moment that features four fantastic Irish female food producers. I can't share details for now, but I had so much craic interviewing these bright, smart women. Every conversation was interesting and thoughtful. Can't wait to share this piece soon

Looking at Autumn fashion, and I am reminded that there are three features I dislike immensely in shoes 👉 pointed toes 👉 sling backs 👉 kitten heels It’s bonus marks when a shoe combines all three.

My latest review on 'Ocras' features Coppinger, the new restaurant risen from the ashes of the former Coppinger Row. What did I think? open.substack.com/pub/joannecron…

Hot take - I go into the office for coffee runs, chats and catch ups, and to fit in errands around the walk in. At home, the only coffee run is to the coffee machine in the kitchen.

Just had to use the tumble dryer for the first time ages as the washing didn’t dry enough outside today. That’s the sign that summer is done

We’ve had a housing crisis for as long as I’ve lived in Dublin. 18 years now and counting. To link housing to immigration is daft. Drive through Dublin and you’ll see vast swathes of public housing built from the 1920s onwards. Why isn’t that happening now?
