Outside the pale, in The Déise recently - had some gorgeous pints in J&K Walsh, where Guinness is served exclusively in glass tankards. The pub is an absolute beauty too! #waterfordbypub

Finished Sally Rooney's latest this weekend and felt it my duty to report that the most notable Dublin Pub mention comes in the form of a scene set in Mulligan's of Poolbeg Street.

Anyone local to D11/D9 have any idea what happened at the Gravediggers? I was passing it on my way out of the Cemetery, and being greeted to this took me aback to say the least.

Though I don't think there's actually a line of sight toward crotch height, the clear window in the Jaxx in Cumiskeys always struck me as odd.

It's always been a great ambition of mine to do a parachute jump from that bridge after the toll on the M50 straight into The Strawberry Hall

Scaffolding has come down on The Plough and it's looking a lot better than its former self. Not reopening as a pub afaik, unfortunately - but good to see nonetheless.

We were in the pub the night before this and all received texts, one by one, advising not to come into work the next day. Reader, we proceeded to go on the absolute lash that night.
