On Saturday, January 14th, 2023, the Los Angeles Alumnae Chapter held our Annual Founders Day Walk at Bruce's Beach. Sorors and visitors walked 110 minutes in honor of our illustrious Founders and 110 years of Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service, and Social Action! #LAAC #DST1913

The Los Angeles Alumane Chapter participated the Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza! Conitnuning our long traditon with the event, we conducted on site voter registration and assited with the drive-through food distribution. #LAAC

On Sunday, January 15, 2023, the LAAC Delta Choraliers and the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., performed in the 38th Annual Commemorative Concert honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This well-attended event was the first in-person event since Jan 2020! #LAAC #DST1913

On Monday, Janaury 16, 2023, Memebers of the Los Angeles Alumnae Chapter volunteered with the Color of Change MLK Day of Service Project, Serve Our Sisters. We packed care packages for women impacted by incarceration. All care packages were donated by Serve Our Sisters!
