When you confront some Black individuals about their anti-Black misandry, colorism, or classism, they often invoke their Black identity or "Black" upbringing to evade accountability.

Mentorship is great in theory, but Black Americans and whites have segregated social networks. This means that whites benefit from access to higher earnings and capital, Black males are locked out of these opportunities. Whiteness confers this access, not mentorship.
