This Giant Puffball (Calvatia gigantea) mushroom was found by a local farmer who dropped it into the Bog of Allen Nature Centre. It is a species of mushroom that grows in fields and deciduous woodlands in Ireland. Some reach a diameter of 150cm. #nature
