Energy and Affordability - Each of Drumlin's wind turbines costs about £600,000. Landowners receive an initial sum and an annual % of the income. Drumlin pays £2,000 per turbine per year into its local community fund. Here's landowner Rodney talking about his experience:

Today's update is on Energy and Progress - NI electricity consumption generated from renewable sources rose from 3% in 2005 to almost 50% at the time of writing in autumn 2021. Most of the increase is from wind energy - 0.3GW in 2010 to about 1.65GW in 2019 #COP26 #GreenEnergy
