Sometimes I do crazy things like travel 10 hours (return) to see a mentor and friend. I think in science our greatest gifts are our colleagues. Thank you dear Bruno for sharing your endless wisdom! It was amazing to see you in person for the first time since 2017!

Today the VIB BioImaging Core Ghent took the afternoon off microscopes and went to chocolate school together! It was as good as it looks! 🤤The only downside is I am not sure how to beat this for our next team building event 🤷‍♀️. Thank-you team for a wonderful afternoon!

A bit of fun to celebrate almost the end of my 4th month at VIB. Time sure flies when you are having a great time, and part of an amazing team at the VIB BioImaging Core and VIB Technologies.

It was amazing to meet Muriel and Isabelle in person in Copenhagen last night. We have know each other for a few years but only in zoom - now finally in person.

Off to a great start at #EMC2024 in Copenhagen. Lovely to see so many good friends and colleagues on day 1. Martina Martina Schifferer wowed again with a superb talk to kick off the Life Science Track 👏.

It was an incredible week at #EMC2024! I have lost my voice, my head is swirling with ideas & my hug quotation has been refilled. I ❤️ 🔬 🧑‍🔬 Thank you to the organizers for hosting us & to all the speakers, poster presenters and companies for sharing their newest stuff with us!

Back in Brussels after an amazing visit to Vienna. Three superb days that included a hfp consulting course, & then visits to the LM and EM facilities at Vienna BioCenter and ISTAustria. I come back full of enthusiasm and ideas! Wow! Just Wow! 🤩! 🙏 for hosting me Gabriel Krens!
