Thank you Mr. Dowdell for your years of service to our district and for being our school's representative on the Board of Education. We will miss you and wish you the best. We also welcome Mr. Copeland as he fills your position on the Board and represents Ruth Hill Elementary!
A huge Wildcat thank you to former Georgia Tech football player, Mr. Isaiah Johnson! He took time out of his busy schedule to deliver some words of inspiration during our weekly FCA meeting. Mr. Johnson is currently playing with the Indianapolis Colts. 🏈
Smokey Road proudly recognizes Mrs. Kelley Ritter as the 2020 Teacher Of The Year! Mrs. Ritter teaches exceptional children and currently serves as the seventh grade chair. Smokey Road would not be the same without both her expertise and leadership.

Hello Smokey Road! Hope everyone is safe and sound this evening. A fast moving storm system came into the area, earlier today, causing minor damage and power outages. Most of the community surrounding our school is without power at this time.
In the meantime, shift all of your focus on your well-being and safety. Once we’re all in a better place, hopefully within a couple of days, we can continue the Online Learning endeavor.
Please take care and continue to keep each other in our thoughts and prayers. 😊
It is mind-blowing how time passes so quickly. We recently conducted a Senior Walk for Newnan High School's Class of 2021. It was so wonderful to see how these former Wildcats have grown into amazing young men and women. So proud of them. Go Cougars!
