We had a surprise visit from the LHS Principal, Dr. Rials. And Officer Browning looked snazzy in his Honor Guard uniform, which the Students and Staff alike both enjoyed.

Yesterday was special. I was inducted into the BMMS Reason To Believe Hall Of Fame, alongside THEE Junior Wedd and THEE Devin Neal! To even be mentioned in the same sentence with difference and impact makers like them, is enough to make any day GREAT! #BigCatEnergy #SouthSide 🫶🏾

All of our middle schools invite fifth graders & their families to Parent Nights at their respective middle school at 6:30 p.m. May 15. Meet staff, visit the school, & learn more about the transition to middle school.

These lunches must be consumed on-site and are free for ages 1-18. Adult meals can be purchased for $5 (cash or check).

The Summer Learning Experience runs from June 3-27 at Billy Mills Middle School (for BMMS & SWMS) & Liberty Memorial Central Middle School (for LMCMS & WMS). 

Summer Learning will NOT be in session on June 19 in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.

Mrs. Fowler's 8th grade students (Connor Lee & Noah Unruh) drew the progression of today's Solar Eclipse throughout the afternoon.

 'We drew 5 different pictures and these were the times we went out: 12:36, 1:10, 1:28, 1:52, and 2:25.'

BMMS students had a chance to watch the Solar Eclipse today! Our ITC also had guests stop by from HINU to watch the eclipse.

The next Solar Eclipse visible in Kansas will be August 12, 2045!

On Friday, the 6th Graders had a Connect Four competition, and Theo Helbing won!
