Meet the faculty: Naveen Jayadev. IMG champion, differential attainment lead. He’ll be using principles of clinical reasoning & intersectionality with the concept of “microskills” as explored by @ResaELewiss & Adaira Landry, MD MEd in their superb book to help us help GPRs with the SCA
What I read in July. Some cracking reads (and a few duds) #GirlUnmasked by Emily♡ and #undertheknife by Dr Liz O'Riordan up there as must reads along with the astonishing memoir from Wes Streeting MP which makes me feel much more positive for the future of the NHS.
Wonderful evening in Sheffield listening to Dr Tim - also say hello on Blue Sky & Mastodon #deepend #healthinequalities
I absolutely love Dr David Hindmarsh YouTube content. I’m thoroughly looking forward to hearing him at #GP5T8 to tech up my teaching and work smarter as a GP trainer
Good start to my holiday reading. A novel a day so far. Loved Grace by Victoria Scott | Author and very much enjoyed her creepier more kate morton style book writing as Victoria darke. The new Kate Morton is excellent too and Richard Osman had me crying helplessly with a beautiful storyline.
What I read in August. Some great fiction and non fiction as well as some real disappointments. Highlights include The Golden Rule by Lucy johnson both of the Victoria Scott | Author novels and Benji Waterhouse brilliant “you don’t have to be mad to work here”
Running a Train the Trainers course for #SeventeenSeconds Dominic Patterson (he/him) today. Two very different depictions of “the ideal supervisor” - #MedEd art or science?
