My comments in Metro on TV storylines that include sibling sexual behaviour & abuse. Many of these are normalise this form of abuse. It's good to highlight issues, but not with the intention to shock/sensationalise. It's dangerous, damaging & unethical. metro.co.uk/2025/03/02/exp…

My comments on Good Morning Britain last week on what more society can do with young men and boys. They are constantly told that they are part of the problem, but never allowed to be part of the solution. #rse #reproductiverights #sexeducation #boys #men

My recent comments on Good Morning Britain - talking about young men and boys. Blame culture and shaming people is incredibly damaging and shuts down the vital dialogue that is needed to unpick the complex issues that surround them in modern society.

My article on Netflix Adolescence. The title links ‘adolescence’ with negativity. It risks demonising boys as a gender to be feared. Showing it in schools needs thought, it's naïve to think watching it will solve issues. Has anybody thought to ask young people their thoughts?

Dr. Sophie King-Hill (@drsophiekh) 's Twitter Profile Photo

My comments on the Netflix show 'Adolescence'. We need to steer away from demonising young men and boys and open vital dialogue with young people and truly listen to what they need. They are the experts in the world they live in. birmingham.ac.uk/news/2025/adol…

The hit Netflix show Adolescence has started an important conversation but care is needed to address misogyny in schools Dr. Sophie King-Hill explains why we need to steer away from demonising young men & boys, open vital dialogue with young people and truly listen birmingham.ac.uk/news/2025/adol…

Netflix's hit show Adolescence is to be shown in secondary schools, the government has confirmed. But will airing the hit series in schools go any way to tackling misogyny and violence in boys and young men?

“What we’ve got to remember it’s a drama, it’s not an educational resource that’s underpinned with evidence" Dr. Sophie King-Hill spoke to BBC Radio 4 about the risk of showing Adolescence in schools. Listen from 36:24: bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0…

My comments on Good Morning Britain this morning on why showing 'Adolescence' in schools is a flawed approach - offering a simple, knee jerk, solution to complex, multi-faceted issues is naïve at the very least. #adolescence #education #boys #men
