Two nice colour ringed YBW sightings recently: Mainland Shetland -> Carmel Head, Anglesey Lundy -> Lower Moors, Scilly Especially interesting southerly re-orientation from Shetland. Many thanks to the ringers & birders who reported these. 📸Reg Thorpe

A beautiful adult male Ring Ouzel from this morning. The abberant white feathers in the head is caused by some kind of melanin deficiency in the bird. #birdmigration #birdringing #birdbanding #autumnmigration #ottenby #birds
