The #MHPSS hotline 66622 launched by World Health Organization (WHO) & وزارة الصـحة - السـودان with World Bank funding through the #SHARE project is providing nationwide psychosocial & psychotherapy services, including referrals for psychiatric care. >133 people have benefited since the launch in September. #Sudan 1/2
The MHPSS hotline is available 12 hours a day Sunday through Thursday, operating from 8:00am to 8:00pm. World Health Organization (WHO) trained hotline staff & launched the service with funding from World Bank through the Sudan Health Assistance and Response in Emergencies #SHARE project. #Sudan 2/2
A 5-day cleanup campaign with awareness sessions was conducted in Nyala Teaching Hospital by World Health Organization (WHO), Alight Sudan & South #Darfur Health & WaSH sectors as part of the World Bank-funded #SHARE project's environmental safeguarding & infection prevention & control component. #Sudan🇸🇩

Today, Dr Shible Sahbani welcomed in his office the newly appointed UNFPA Sudan Representative Fabrizia Falcione. The two leaders discussed joint efforts to support the delivery of reproductive, maternal & child health services in #Sudan in the context of the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Milestone MOU signed between #Sudan, #Djibouti, #Somalia & #Yemen for cooperation on key health issues: climate change, common policies for people's movement, emergency & epidemics preparedness & response & rehabilitation. WHO Sudan will support وزارة الصـحة - السـودان in the implementation.
