Just heard someone I mentioned in class today, due to an example of prejudice targeting the person, state that "Reverse racism isn't racism". Not sure if the person misspoke & meant to say it is racism, but we discussed in class before his comment that "reverse" generic ism, /1

As I have said before, I remember when knowing a second language was not just expected, but also required in high school/college. When I applied for grad school (1989), one of the questions was what second language did I know as part of the requirement. npr.org/2024/01/22/122…

Interesting discussion piece. I do recall the whispers & concerns here in SLC during the early days of the WNBA regarding sexual orientation & regarding the ethnic composition of the teams compared to who got promoted by the league.
