In many parts of India, real challenge isn’t access - it’s access to uniform standardized healthcare. When I advise patients to follow up locally instead of traveling hundreds of Km, many still return. Trust is one reason but confidence can come from uniform standardized system.

In India, some drivers follow ambulances at the same speed to weave through traffic. I always worry what if the ambulance brakes suddenly? It could cause a serious crash and risk even more lives. Respect the siren. Stay back. Save lives.

Adult vaccination awareness in India is shockingly low. Ask about flu or pneumonia vaccines and many confidently say they’ve had both - turns out, they meant COVID vaccine. Most don’t realise vaccines are needed routinely, not just during a pandemic.
