When you’re the Navigator in a pairing session, always apply the “5 seconds” rule before pointing out a mistake made by the Driver. Give them a chance to catch and correct it on their own!

One way to create new pairs in your team is to write down each member’s area of expertise and knowledge gaps, and group them according to business needs

To avoid knowledge silos, make sure to rotate employees through different pairs and parts of the code while preparing for a new sprint
