Not expecting anything official tonight from the Rangers on a new contract for Will Cuylle, which has been reported at 2 years, $7.8 million ($3.9 million AAV). Doesn't mean anything went wrong, just means it might not be registered tonight.

Don't sleep on the Rangers acquisition of Scott Morrow. He's 22. He's a right-shot D. He can skate, though he wants to improve that. He needs to get stronger. He was the No. 40 pick in the 2021 draft. He's basically coming home. He's from Darien, Connecticut. Tons of upside.

And of course it’s now official. Cuylle re-signs with the Rangers on a two-year, $7.8 million contract.
