Akash Mathur Autoimmune diseases are very common. Almost 5 percent population has autoimmune hypothyroidism. My advice Fortunately severe autoimmune diseases are relatively rare. Almost all people have at least 1 family member with history of cancer, arthritis, diabetes, heart disease etc.
