Another successful practical #oculartrauma course Royal College of Ophthalmologists; 15 delegates from U.K., Ireland & Switzerland. But this time with extra faculty from Rwanda. Plan to take this Royal College of Ophthalmologists course to East Africa soon with our 🇷🇼 colleagues Dr Theophile & Dr Mikhail.



Today, our first-ever vitreoretinal fellow, Dr. David NGABO at Kabgayi Eye Unit , and the first Rwandan ever to be training in VR surgery within a Rwandan setting, performed his first solo VR case—a scleral buckle case. This is a huge achievement for him, and I am so proud of him!!!
